Worchester Sub netting Configurations and Boston Site Protocol, Route Summarization, and Topology Improvement
Challenges.
One of the main challenges experienced in sub-netting is the determining the size of the subnet. Too large subnet means that the bandwidth of the network will always be over consumed .Large Subnets therefore; mean that the network is going to be too slow. On the other hand, the smaller subnets mean underutilization of resources such as routers and switches in the network. This comes with economic challenges. In Worchester Site we have five subnets with 124, 62, 30, 14 and 6 devices each. The subnets are of moderate size and the server subnet contains only 6 devices to alleviate congestion.

Topology Improvement,
in this site, the communication of devices within the network uses the star topology. This means that they lack the element of a very important factor; redundancy. Redundant networks needs acquisition of another line from local careers to ensure that in times of outages, communications can go on undisturbed.
