This is the discussion forum for Chapter 5 15 & 22. I’d like you to have a class-generated discussion over the topics from this week’s material that interested you the most.
1. In a paragraph or two, discuss what you found most interesting/exciting/useful/important about the material we covered this week and explain why. For this part of your post, your target audience is someone who doesn’t know much about psychology, so be sure to clearly explain any key terms or concepts (e.g., don’t assume they know what heuristics are).
2. For the second part of your post, pose two questions to your classmates that can generate interesting discussion. These questions can relate to what you wrote about in part one above, but it doesn’t have to. Remember–you’re trying to generate discussion, so questions with a concrete answer (e.g. What are heuristics?) aren’t appropriate here. Instead, ask open-ended questions. For example, you might ask for opinions or suggestions for how we can use the ideas in day-to-day life.
