Choose a country outside of the United States of interest to you. Write a 2 page essay (no shorter than 1.5 pages, no longer than 2.5 pages) considering what a US business manager would need to know about cultural norms and communication in that countryto do business there. Consider communication style, non-verbal communication, high and low context, any value differences that affect communication, and anything else you can think of that would influence how people in that country interact and communicate. Be sure to point out how these customs differ from the United States. What sort of adjustments would have to be made? How easy or difficult would it be for an American manager to adjust to the foreign norms and communication style? Do not simply repeat what you heard in class or what you read from your textbook. Look further and deeper to get full points.

Be sure to have an introductory paragraph and a concluding paragraph. Please include a title page and reference page, citing at least two sources (you may use your textbook for one of the sources). The title page and reference page do not count as part of the page count. Use Times New Roman, 12 point font, double-space your paper, and leave a one inch margin on all sides.
