Objectives: To introduce students to current issues related to Biology. To familiarize students with biological vocabulary, and technical writing. To expose students to the reading and comprehension of relevant articles and/or audio reports on scientific issues but presented to non-scientist readers.
The report paper will refer to current article/s published in a magazine and/ or audio report. Examples of these sources are health magazines,CDC webpage, NC statistics webpage, wildlife magazines, npr or pbs reports or any other news reports found in the internet
