Veterans Hospital Administration
Challenges facing the people in Veterans Administration range from a small number of health officers to poor quality service provisions (BODENHEIMER & PHAM H.H, 2010). Whereas the number of health officers is not enough, even the services offered by the few available one is not quality to help sort out the health challenges of the people living in the Veterans Administration (TRIVEDI A.N., et al, 2011). The insufficiency in the number of the medical personals makes the sick people to have an extended period of time spend on the queues as they wait for the provision of the essential services. The situation has been worsened by the number challenge related to late reimbursement of the health workers for the services they render to the hospital. Such has demotivated them from being effective in offering their outstanding services to the people in the Veterans Administration. Finally, the state of recklessness in the health center is associated with lack of the policy guideline that guides the daily operation of the hospital (AGHA Z et al, 2000). Therefore, the hospital has no suitable rules to guide how its activities are supposed to run.
Social media is an essential tool for communication, especially in the new dispensation. For the sake of nursing practices, the site can be used for sharing proper information that is necessary for tracking disease outbreaks and their immediate control. The use of social media will speed up the spread of information to different health care institutions for developing a possible solution before the situation spills over to their territory. Moreover, nurses can benefit from information concerning discovery of the new cures for a given ailment through social media. For that reason, various ideas can also be shared among the medical practitioners to improve on the old working system or the ancient cures of the available disease.
