What is your religious identity? What sorts of rituals do you engage in, and are they religious in nature or secular? Have you experienced any rites of passage? If so, can you define the three stages you passed through? How do you express yourself creatively? What art forms do you especially appreciate and why? How do those art forms reflect your culture in terms of shared ideas/beliefs, material aspects? What functions does it have in your society?
Consider your use of language: how does the language you use change depending on the social situation you are in? How is your culture uniquely reflected in the language/expressions you use? How does your language influence your perception of the world? Or, to put it another way, what did you learn about your culture from learning your language? Are you concerned about the loss of your language? Why or why not? For those of you who are multilingual, you may consider any or all of the languages you speak in answering these questions.
