I want you to consider what scene or sequence of the film “Waiting for Superman” affected you most profoundly. What single moment stood out to you the most? Was the
impact of the scene/sequence mainly emotional for you, or also intellectual? Why did you respond to it? I do NOT want you to describe the film. I want you to:
1.) Describe your reaction to a specific piece of the film and why you think you reacted as you did.
2.) Consider how the film makers crafted that scene to produce a specific effect (even if it does not match your response). In other words, think about what the film
makers were trying to do in the scene that you responded to.
