1. Answer the prompt in a paper that is 3-6 pages in length.

2. Papers must be double spaced, have 1 inch margins and 12 point font Times New Roman.

3. Papers must include a Works Cited page, and use a conventional in-text citation format (e.g. MLA).

Prompt: Use the factual knowledge from your first paper to recommend some change to your country’s WMD policies. Your second paper should focus on your recommended changes to the country’s WMD arsenal (proliferation, force structure, technology), or to policies designed to exploit the impact of WMD (deterrence, compellence, coercion, etc.). In constructing your policy recommendation: (a) identify the issue your policy change aims to address, (b) take into account other nuclear and relevant non-nuclear states and other actors such as the United Nations, and (c) shape your policy with close attention to your country’s capabilities, limitations and interests.
