To prepare for this Assignment:
Keep track of everything you eat and drink, and all physical activities for 2 weekdays (Monday through Thursday).
Go to MyDietAnalysis at http://www.mydietanalysis.com/ and log in. Click on the “Profiles” tab and create your personal profile.
After you have completed creating your personal profile, click on the “Diet Tracker” tab and input your food intake for 2 weekdays. (Note: Be sure to save your changes after each entry.) NOTE: Save these days as DAY ONE and DAY TWO.
Record all of your activities for those 2 weekdays on the “Activity Tracker” tab.
Assignment:
From MyDietAnalysis, perform the following actions:
Go to the “Reports” tab and choose the following report: Meal Assessment.
Click on “Annotate Report.” A pop-up box will appear. In that box, answer the following questions:
Which meal had the highest calories for you: breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snack?
Why do you think that this meal had the most calories? (1 paragraph)
What decisions went into the food choices for that meal? (1 paragraph)
Can you determine any particular motivations for the foods you ate over those 2 days for this meal? Please specify (1-2 paragraphs)
Which meal had the highest fat for you: breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snack?
How did you manage your fat intake over these 2 days for this particular meal? Did you consider fat intake or was it not something you thought of while making your food choices? (1-2 paragraphs)
Comparing all four meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack), how would you rank the quality of your meals in order from best to worst? What made you rank them in the order that you did? (1 paragraph)
Support your Application Assignment with specific references to all resources used in its preparation. You are to provide a reference list for all resources, including those in the Learning Resources for this course. References are not required for this application but highly suggested for optimum points.
Save your annotation. Click on “Email Report.” Put your e-mail address in both the “Sender’s e-mail address” field and the “Recipient’s e-mail address” field. At the bottom, choose PDF as the format. Click on “Send Report.” Check your e-mail and save the report onto your desktop.
