What do you notice about the opportunities and challenges you have as a health care consumer in your community, and within the U.S. health care delivery system? What conditions, if any, have helped you to receive the health services you needed as efficiently and effectively as possible? Has the lack of a single, integrated health care system created obstacles for you in accessing the continuum of care? If so, how?
Submit a 2-3 pages cohesive response, with references to the following:
1. Provide examples from your own experiences as a health care consumer that illustrate relationships between and among direct- and indirect-care organizations.
2. Identify the scope and range of at least four of these organizations, comparing and contrasting direct- and indirect-care organizations.
3. Describe two or more insights you have gained about opportunities and challenges that health care consumers may experience in the U.S. health care delivery system.
