Words, Imagery, and Meaning Short Essay
Choose one of the poems above. Choose two words that move you with their denotation or connotation. Choose one literal image and one bit of figurative language. In one to three pages, discuss briefly how the two words, the one literal image, and the one bit of figurative language help to create the overall meaning of the poem as you see it.
