Write an essay of 8-10 pages (in APA format) answering the following questions (grouped together by topic):

Part I:

• What does it mean to have diversity in a culture or society?
• Name at least 30 examples of diverse features that distinguish people and make them different from each other.
• Rank order them (1-30) in terms of how important you think people feel each aspect is connected to their own identity.  Justify your reason why you think so.
• Examine three of your examples in terms of debate/conflict that are happening currently in the world.  For example, are people currently fighting/arguing over certain aspects of their diversity?

Part II:

• What are the advantages and disadvantages of having a diverse society?
• What are the advantages and disadvantages of having a diverse workforce?
• What are the advantages and disadvantages of working in a diversity group?

Part III:

• What are the most and least diverse countries in the world?
• Focus on one country and examine how are they facing the issue of diversity.  For example, what are they doing to increase/decrease diversity?
• How are they doing this?  For example, name specific laws, recommendations, example setting at specific companies.
