A world ruled by god the mother would be far more humane
Hinduism has goddesses, such as the consorts of Shiva or Vishnu. Some goddesses are more terrible than their male partners. This does not seem to agree with the popular notion that women exercise authority/power with greater compassion and love than men.
Discuss the following.
1. A world ruled by “God the Mother” would be far more humane, peaceful and just than the present world ruled by “God the Father.”
2. Women and men of all religions should have equal opportunities in the exercise of religious ministries/authority.
3. Who would you prefer to be head of your Church/religion: A man or a woman and why?
