Write an essay on impact of social economic and political effects
Tim Wu describes how attention became a commodity – something that can be bought and sold and is of value to both businesses and governments. For your paper, choose one example from Wu’s book of an innovation or development in the practice of attention capture – such as penny newspapers, direct mail marketing, government use of propaganda, or product sponsorships of radio or television programming – and describe what it is, explain its importance, and evaluate its effects.
Your essay should draw on Wu’s text for support in the form of paraphrases and quotes. All paraphrases and quotes should be properly introduced, cited, and explained.
Essays should be a minimum of four full pages in length, double-spaced, in 12-point Times New Roman font, and MLA format. Make sure to remove extra spaces between paragraphs.
