Write an eight pages essay on a film called the missing
For this assignment you will be required to view one popular “Hollywood Style” feature film that you will select from the list provided for you. You will also select an anthropological topic to use as a frame work to talk about the film (i.e. identity, kinship, ethnicity, image and stereotype creation, self-representation and authenticity, assimilation, colonialism, religion, culture change, ect…). In the paper you will critically discuss a popular film presentation of Native Americans. Additional research (at least 3 scholarly articles or books) is required. The paper will be eight (8) pages in length (of text-does not include bibliography or title page) and double spaced with normal fonts and margins (i.e. 12 pt. font and 1 ” margins). The film that I want you to use is “The Missing” (2003).
