Write the given Annotated Bibliography assignment.

Note that Assignment has TWO requirements–an updated Annotated Bibliography containing a total of five sources (i.e. three new sources in addition to your two original sources) and an updated/revised (as necessary) Introduction.

IMPORTANT: The Annotated Bibliography MUST CONTAIN ALL FIVE OF YOUR SOURCES AND ANNOTATIONS and not merely your three new additions.

Annotated Bibliography must be properly formatted in accordance with APA guidelines. In addition, note that each annotation must be 150-250 words.

Below is what was in professors note in regards to introduction and the revisions that need to make and that the 3 annotations need to be 150 word minimum.

Remember to focus on a specific humanities-based area of impact (i.e. art, music, literature, history, philosophy).

Your primary focus should be upon the impact of slavery upon contemporary society and not upon the history of slavery or its impact upon areas unrelated to the humanities.

For example, focus on the impact of slavery upon contemporary African American sculpture or the impact of slavery upon contemporary jazz.

The following general requirements for an effective introduction:

Do not write in first person. Like your essay, the introduction should be written in third person;
Thesis should be posited as the final sentence of your introduction;
Introduction should be brief and concise (no more than 4-5 sentences);
Avoid using quotes in your introduction.
An effective introduction establishes essays topic and posits a thesis.
Avoid rhetorical questions.
