On your midterm, your main idea sentence will receive its own grade as well as being considered part of the summary. Practice writing strong main idea sentences.
Part 3: In paragraph form, support or oppose Lyle’s suggestion for Henry. Minimum eight numbered sentences. (This is instead of a free response.)
Part 4: Optional for your Education Only: Write sentences about “Gentle Way to Die” or “If the dog” using any connector that is giving you trouble. I also encourage making up questions to elicit your own answers.
